Clarks – Build Awareness to the Right Target and Drive to Online Store 

Stand out in a busy market and attract online sales from a typically older age group.
Testing an innovative Facebook solution and convince the Social Media client efficiency for retargeting purposes.

  • Use a new product from Facebook – Dynamic Ads. A Socialyse first.
  • These ads used a Facebook Pixel to collect user audiences who had visited specific product pages on the Clarks site, or who had added products to their basket, in the last ten days.
  • We could then retarget those users on Facebook with the products they had shown interest in.
  • These ads, in a Carousel format, dynamically displayed images and copy relating to each product.
  • 3x rise in click-through rate compared to usual Clarks activity
  • 2.5x rise in click-to-sale rate compared to usual Clarks activity
  • Average cost per sale of just £2.14
  • Action rate on the ads was over 30% as users scrolled through the carousel to view the selection of products. On traffic activity like this we would not usually expect higher than 2-3%
